Interior and Exterior Painting
Cetpainting has painted dozens of exteriors/interiors in different areas. Jobs where performed in NYC, Westchester, Rocland, Putnam Valley. Our highly trained team of painters has many years of experience in painting exteriors and interiors. We have worked on multicolored Victorian homes, historical homes, decks, railings, spindles, front/garage doors, and libraries. CET Painting guarantees the following when we paint your interior/exterior:
*Proper protection and covering of your floors, moldings, windows, furniture and any other surfaces that are not to be painted
*We will remove and put back electrical socket/switch plates, ceiling fan/lamp covers, thermostats and any other wall or ceiling devices necessary.
*Proper Surface preparation including:
- Thorough cleaning of the surface
- Scraping, spackling, and sanding of any loose paint or surface defects such as cracks or old nail holes
- Removal of wallpaper and wallpaper adhesive
- Replacement of defective wallboard or plaster
- All appropriate surfaces will be primed prior to applying the paint
*Proper application of the paint
*Use of high quality paints (Benjamin Moore or customer preferred paint)
*Proper and neat storage of all equipment during the job
*Proper cleanup of all areas during and after the job is completed.
*Proper covering and protection of entrance ways, walkways, windows, patios, porches, chimneys, driveways, and plants while the work is in progress
*All exterior attachments will be removed as necessary at the beginning of the job and put back up properly at the end of the job.
*Proper cleanup and storage of materials and tools during the job and after the job is finished
*The work will be done in a prompt and efficient manner

Specialty & Custom Finishes

If you can show us an example of the look you want whether it is from a photograph, a drawing, a friend's house, or a magazine, most likely we can reproduce that look no matter what the pattern or texture. Let our years of experience in custom finishes bring your ideas to life. We are experts in providing specialty and custom finishes including:
Glazing
This is a 4 step coating process starting with the coating of your custom pattern or design on the wall and ending with a multicoated clear protective acrylic layer. The end result is a patterned coating that is smooth to the touch, extremely durable, and is often mistaken for wallpaper by visitors and guests.
Striping
This technique is done entirely free hand to recreate the look and feel of rooms that were painted in a similar fashion in older historic times.
Pickling
This technique is used to give your wood furnishings and moldings a new look by bringing out the design of the wood grain. Often used with darker woods such as oak it caused the grain lines to darken while lightening the wood between the grain lines. This accents the wood grain pattern giving your wood work and furnishings a truly unique look.
Sponge Painting and Rag Rolling
Similar to glazing this technique allows you to have a custom pattern look to your wall or ceiling but unlike glazing, the pattern will actually have a texture that can be felt.
